Trauma Therapist

I’m here to help the strong friend finally take off the cape and care for themselves.

  • You’re the one who always seems to have it all together—the strong one, the go-to person for everyone else. But lately, it feels like you just can’t do it anymore. The overthinking, the panic attacks, the crying spells, or that constant undercurrent of sadness or fear—it’s all become too much. Something in your life has shifted—maybe a new job, a relationship change, mounting stress, or unprocessed trauma—and you haven’t quite felt steady since.

You’re exhausted from the overworking, the people-pleasing, the blurred boundaries, and the pressure to be perfect. Things might look fine on the outside, but behind closed doors, it feels like chaos. Most of all, you’re tired of carrying the mental weight alone—and you’re finally ready for someone to help carry it with you.

You want to live life on your own terms, without constantly worrying about what others think. You want to handle life’s curveballs without being knocked off course. And more than anything, you want to feel good about yourself and your future. That’s where I come in.

  • I specialize in working with high-achieving women who have always held it together for everyone else—but now need someone to show up for them. You’ve been the strong one, the capable one, the one who always finds a way. But lately, it’s been different. You’re struggling, and even though you know where you want to go, the path forward feels uncertain. I get it—because I’ve been there. I’m living proof that it’s possible to move through the hard stuff and come out stronger on the other side.

  • My therapeutic approach combines Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and solution-focused strategies. I integrate these tools through a person-centered and culturally responsive lens—because therapy should honor your identity, your values, and your lived experience. You belong at the center of the work we do together.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy and am a Limited Licensed Counselor in the State of Michigan.
